empty feeling today weird
I was feeling very weird out there today in general. I was feeling very empty out there.
ball seeing today
I was seeing the ball a little better today and didn't make all those unforced errors,
felt good second stronger today tournament
I have been getting stronger as the tournament went on and I felt good today in the second set again.
against anyone ball best few harder hits improved last match months played playing serve today tour weeks
That's the best she's ever played against me. When she's on, she hits the ball harder than anyone on the Tour and I think you could see today her serve has improved a lot too. She's always very dangerous... I think for me it was one match too much physically. I've done really well the last few weeks and months to keep playing as well as I have and I had to have a let down at some point.
again aggressive healthy months played playing pleased ranked stayed today tough win year
I played pretty well today and stayed aggressive because she is a tough opponent, ... This is where it all started for me so I'm really pleased to win again here today. One year ago I was injured, some months ago I was ranked around 130, and right now I am really pleased that I'm healthy and playing well.
felt fresh hit hurt left moving normally previous routine tape today tomorrow treatment wearing
I'm still not moving like I normally can, but a lot better. I just have to do a lot of treatment and everything and that's what I'm doing. I'm not going to hit tomorrow and just keep my routine going so that I'm fresh when I have to be out there. That's why I was wearing my tape today because I felt in my previous match, with the serve, I was just compensating my back a little bit. It started to hurt my left leg, my left hamstring, that's why it's taped today.
best definitely playing quite tennis today
Today I definitely didn't feel like I was playing my best tennis but I was doing enough to get through quite comfortably.
good hands luckily sure
I'm sure I was in good hands up there. Luckily I made it back.
again bad beat came good last points saying shots wants
I know that I didn't play bad points there, ... She had to come up with good shots, and she did. Obviously, it was a little frustrating. I was saying to myself, she came up with those shots at the last minute. Let her do that again if she wants to beat me.
both happy obviously speak spoken
I know that he's happy. I have spoken to him. I am obviously going to speak to him (again). They're both happy and that's all that I wanted for them.
beat feeling good great knowing opponent problem tennis third tired
I know that I'm not going to get tired if I have to play a third set, and that's a great feeling to have -- knowing that that's not going to be a problem for me. I can go out there and play that third set, knowing that it's going to take my opponent to play good tennis to beat me.
effort knew twice
I knew I had to put in twice the effort if I wanted to come back.
balls bit break eventually knew rhythm
I knew that once I could break her rhythm a little bit and keep getting enough balls back that eventually she would miss, and she did,
couple last match maybe stanford tired traveling weeks
I know after the match in Stanford that I have to be ready. But maybe she will be tired because she has done a lot of traveling in the last couple of weeks having been to Beijing.
