I wasn't really thinking about the score. I just tried to keep fighting and just kept running for each ball.

I wasn't playing my best tennis at all for a set and a half, but I was still fighting. I was defending well and I think that's kept me in a lot of games. We had a lot of long rallies, and I think that got her tired.

I can hit some winners with my forehand and that's where I put on some pressure. My serve kept me in a lot of games, too, ... This is the best that I've felt so far. I was moving well, I was quick on my feet.

She kept hitting the lines and going for her shots, but the closer it gets, she misses a smash. They'll go for more risks and you get them out of their comfort zone. That's what sometimes makes a difference.

I've realized a lot more how much I missed tennis, ... That's the whole completely different attitude that I have now. No matter what I do, I'm going for it because it could be over. If I get another wrist injury, if I have anything else, my career could be over very soon. That's why I want to go out there and just enjoy every shot that I can hit.

The second set I just knew I had to play aggressive and just keep going for the lines. Even though there's a lot of wind, you just have to play your game and not think about it too much.
