There is a period of adjustment to get used to seeing out of one eye. But he is a very tough guy, not just physically but emotionally, and I'm sure he'll overcome this.

We feel we can get away from our style that we've been successful with by trying to go out and make cute passes and that kind of thing. I respect that hockey team that they're going to shove it to us, as they did last game. Fortunately for us, our goaltender had a good night.

Rarely do you get dominated at home. I thought we looked frustrated and didn't respond well to adversity.

Tenacity. In hockey, we use a lot of goofy little terms about player to describe a player. Intangibles, work ethic, intelligence. It's a great mix. He's a very smart hockey player.

Every game (against Providence) we have to earn everything we get. Games are getting tighter, and the margin of error is very, very small and we know we can't take a shift off, let alone a period or a game.

We've quickly got over getting spanked pretty good the last time here. It was very intense, and our goalie was better and deserved it because he had played good for us early, then fallen off and now picked it up again.

The players wear visors as 7-year-olds. They wear them as 10-year-olds. They can wear it as 20-year-olds and it's not going to affect their hockey.

Over the course of a guy's career, there are moments, little snapshots, of when things really turn the corner, and this is one that were watching right now. The confidence is just bursting off the guy. He's doing so many things well for the team, that it is a pleasure to watch him play right now.

I think the announcement Monday was a good thing because it showed it had gotten to a resolution. It was really traumatic for everyone and given guys perspective of how delicate and special your career is. You realize you're really fortunate to have this kind of life.

My wife told me, with the cuts and bruises I've received around my eyes, it wasn't very intelligent not to wear a visor. My sons wear them and will continue, moving forward.
