damn good guys looking people speculate touch
They can't look at mine. They can't look at mine. You all know good and damn well that what you see is what you get. You can look at other people and speculate all you want. But you guys know from looking at me that I didn't touch a thing.
amazing double ear guy hitting
It's amazing for a guy hitting with a double ear flap. I didn't know if he hit left-handed or right-handed.
care factor later matter nag ways
It's a matter of working the soreness out and getting back to normal. If it's later, there's other ways to take care of it. But, it's April. You don't want this to nag on and be a factor later in the season.
change city mama queen quit
When I was 16, I was working at Queen City Speedway. I made $84 and change one week, then my mama told me to quit to concentrate on baseball.
We're going to come in and see tomorrow.
beneficial both certain decision good helps mutual needed time
There are certain things that are good for the player, good for the team. It was a mutual decision on what we needed at the time. Time helps and they needed the spot. It's beneficial for both of us.
again awesome chance guys results treat yes
To be around the guys who said yes to this was a treat in itself. I got a chance to know different personalities, and I think it was pretty awesome that we were able to do this. The results weren't what we would like to have, but I would do it again any time.
arguably both guys history players top
Those guys are legends. You can't say enough for those guys and what they've done for baseball. Both of those guys are arguably in the top 10 players in the history of the game.
guy
We play a game. What he was going through doesn't compare. It was important that the little guy not be by himself.
course main streak
Over the course of the season, you'll get on a streak where you get a couple, but the main thing for me is to try to get my hits.
fun good hit stay trying worry
As you get older, stay around, you just go out and have fun and don't worry if you hit them out. I'm not trying to hit it out, just trying to get good contact.
barrier everybody flags language people understood yelling
You're not just representing the people of Cincinnati, you're representing everybody. It was different. You'd see all the flags and the people yelling and the uniforms. The language barrier was a little tough. But for the most part, everybody understood one thing - baseball.
focused second
Are we going to be a little more focused in the second round? Yeah.
strong
Awesome. It is exciting, and Mark's a big, strong guy.
