Kenneth Mark Hollandis the current General Manager and executive Vice President of the Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League. We've had great success, and Europeans have been a big part of that. When Scotty put together the Russian Five, that was really the start of the Red Wings we see today. I think it even had an impact on how we developed our drafting philosophy and scouting philosophy.

I stayed in touch for two reasons. If we didn't have Pavel, I wanted to make sure we had open communication for next year to get him back then. At the same time, I was also told by Gary that even though Pavel had signed a contract in Russia, his first desire was to be in Detroit. They were never saying it's a done deal.
