When British music magazines say we're overly serious or po-faced I think it's actually an indication that the mindset of people right now is to be completely apolitical and not be concerned about what's happening in the world. To try and draw attention to this, you're labeled as a political party person or something and I think that's sad .
bit darker good impressed quite similar singles somebody though
It was good to find somebody who I thought would be in a similar place. As it transpired, I was misinformed. I thought they'd be a bit darker than they were, but I was impressed by their singles 'Darts of Pleasure' and 'Take Me Out.' And though they were quite light, they did it in a good way.

It's absurd to think a band is something heroic. There is nothing heroic about being a band or making music. Heroic is doing a job that you hate every day in an office to support your family. It's carrying on in the face of that.
