effect emotional felt giving habits hard hope lift missed morale positive revert talking time whether
I hope this has a positive effect (on my teammates). I was talking to the guys, giving them a hard time if they missed a pass. I wanted to wade myself back in but old habits are hard to die. I felt myself revert to old tendencies. Whether it is morale or excitement, if it?s a positive, emotional lift that?s great.
decision finish hopes symptom
I'm not 100%, I'm not symptom free. I will not be able to finish the season. I made the decision in hopes of prolonging my career.
remain season
I want to see us remain contenders all season and right through the playoffs.
four member opposition played team
Not only is it four years (since he played here) but it's another new team for him, ... He's just a member of the opposition and we have to play him accordingly.
grunt guys heart skilled sleeve talented team
It's not always going to be the most skilled guy, the most talented guy, that's going to put a team over the top. It's going to be those guys that, in the end, put their heart on their sleeve and do the grunt work.
cost goals tuesday
It's cost us. They had two power-play goals Tuesday and we haven't connected.
early found
Early in the season, we haven't found ways.
buzz created retail
We've really created a buzz in the retail and manufacturing industries. We'll be visible.
bit change contact huge hurdle means stated time trying wear worse
This is part of my rehab. It's another hurdle and it's a huge hurdle for me. But by no means does it change anything I've stated earlier. I just keep trying to take it one day at a time and progress. I wasn't any the worse for wear from the little bit of contact I had, which is good.
biggest chance deciding distance factors feeling franchise willing
The one thing about Clarkie is he's always going to give us an opportunity. For me, that was one of the biggest deciding factors when I re-signed (with a four-year deal). As a player, there's no better feeling than being a part of an organization or franchise that is willing to go that distance and give you a chance to win. He's done it again.
difference heart line rate walk
That's kind of the line I've got to walk now. I think the difference is the post-concussion is light-headedness, where I get that disconnect. Anything else is working and getting your heart rate up. I'm still a little nervous. It's still a little scary.
closer full hurdle step
Personally, it's exciting. Every hurdle is another step closer to a full recovery.
ability february frame giving great means months pace position regrets september six time tried
September at the earliest, that was the time frame (set) with the announcement back in February and that has not changed. The organization has been great giving me the ability to get better at the pace I wanted to have. If that means six months from now, as long as I have no regrets on how I tried to get myself in position to play, I can live with that.
felt huge hurdle
I felt good. This is part of my rehab. It's a huge hurdle for me.
