We hit a big-time drought in the fourth quarter. We kept our poise. We got some stops and rebounded the shots. In the past we folded.
This means a lot to us. It feels great to get a victory. We lost four in a row before this and it felt like an eternity. Night after night we have come up short, but tonight we hung in there and didn't give up.
We got our butts kicked. It's embarrassing to experience something like that.
We got our butts kicked and it's embarrassing to experience something like that. It's very disappointing for all of us that really care about what's happened to this team. The fans aren't happy, the organization's not happy and each and every guy on this team and the coaches are equally disappointed.
I shrugged it off. I thought it was indigestion.
That's totally awful. It should not happen. Every guy in this locker room is responsible. We didn't secure rebounds. We didn't guard the pick-and-roll the right way. It's unacceptable.
We can't be focusing on who we have out there or not. We've just got to go out there and play hard and be aggressive. If we have one or two guys that are out, we've got to roll up our sleeves and go to work.
We didn't even focus on that. Our prayers go out to him and his family. We had to go out with the guys we had in this locker room. We have confidence we can win.
We haven't played well at home at all this year. It's very disappointing to the team and also to the fans. We do not, of course, want to lose our fan appeal, because they're our sixth man. Those are the people we truly need. With our performances lately, we haven't been getting the job done.
Unfortunately at times things don't work out your way and tonight we came out with a lot of fight, start to finish, unfortunately we just couldn't pull out the victory.
It's kind of weird that we're a different team on the road. Some may say our focus is different, we play with more energy, more passion. ... We have to make teams fear coming into our building.
With Tracy out of the game, we all had to step up.
When the whole team is making shots, it feels great. We've noticed in the past, when we missed shots, guys have really gotten down on themselves. We're trying so hard. And we've lost some ballgames. It becomes frustrating. But tonight was the total opposite.
We've been working hard to get a victory. Hopefully this is a turning point for us.
