Don't bring ten athletes somewhere and then four or five of them are mad because they're not on the team, ... And then a lot of people are very bitter about it and they're happy to see us fail. It should be cut and dry. It should be these athletes are going to run, and if anything happens, we bring in another athlete.

It was really exciting as a college athlete watching the red, white and blue run the last day. Everybody comes on the last day to watch the professionals, whether it's raining or not.

They were playing duck, duck, goose with the lanes. They couldn't find out who was in Lane 3 or Lane 7 or Lane 8, so they switched it around. Then the announcer called it with the wrong lanes, so they switched it around again. They did that about three times. But the audience was patient, we were patient and we put on a good show.

We're just really, really close friends. If the situation were different we probably would be together, but we're just friends, and that's how we like to keep it right now. Hopefully things will turn out the best they can.

I think we need to fix some things within the staff and the athletes, ... I think we should take a lesson from the French and the British who have basically gotten the stick around and got it around safely. That's all we need to do. That's all we had to do: get the stick around safely and we'd be in the finals. There's no way that we should not have been in the finals.
