best game last pick season since slow start week year
I think since the first game I've been getting better, ... I think last week was my best game. I get better as the season goes. It's like that every year - I have a slow start and then pick it up.
change feels hardly momentum remember rush since time
It's been a long time since I've dunked in a real game, so I hardly remember what it feels like. But getting a sack, it's one of those things that can change the momentum of a game. So it is a rush to get one of those.
against crowd love stadiums using
We love going to other people's stadiums and using the crowd against them.
care season smart
We're just being smart because it's a long season and you have to take care of these little things to keep them from getting bigger.
couple hits rattled
We got a couple hits on Eli early. I think that kind of rattled him.
calmed drive everybody fast start
But the important thing was to start fast in this game. We scored on that first drive and set the tone. That calmed everybody down and we were able to play our style.
ball brady great hurry job throw
Brady does a great job of getting the ball out of there in a hurry and that is frustrating. But we have a lot of different things that we can do with blitzes. By Sunday, we will have something to throw them off.
chicago defense given
Who would have thought that vaunted Chicago defense would have given up 29?
bother complain expects hear nobody people
Nobody expects more out of me than me, so it doesn't bother me at all to hear people complain that 'He's not making plays' or 'He's not getting sacks,'
satisfied
Personally, I think I'm doing well. I'm still working on things to get better. I'm not where I want to be. I'll never get where I want to be. But I'm satisfied with where I am so far.
feeling matter mind nobody player stop zone
Right now, he has it in his mind that nobody is going to stop him, no matter what. When a player is in that zone and he's feeling like that, there's really little that you can do.
early easy lead offense playing
When this offense is playing lights-out like that, it makes everything easy for us. Give us an early lead and look out.
call few guess instant knee knew looked personal referee replay rule saw
I thought it was a fumble, but that's just my personal opinion. The call from the referee was his knee was down. So I guess that was the right call. They got instant replay and looked at it a few times, so evidently they saw something that I didn't see or they knew a rule that I don't know. I thought it was a fumble, but again, that's just my personal opinion.
denver expected pittsburgh surprised tough
Pittsburgh? Nah, I'm not surprised. Pittsburgh is a tough team, just like us. I'm not surprised by that. And Denver -- they're 13-3. And Seattle? Nah, no surprise. And yeah, we expected to be here.
