At the beginning of the season I was anxious about the direction we were going. I usually have a firm grasp on where we were going.

conference dual finals five guys seven sure team unusual win
For us to win I think we are going to have to have 180 points. I think we can have five guys in the finals again, but I'm not sure which five. We could get as many as seven or eight, which shouldn't be unusual for a team that could win the conference dual title.
failed toughest unless wrestling
Wrestling is one of those things that you'll always feel like you've failed because it's always so individualized. Unless you get everyone through that you want, you are going to be disappointed. This was the toughest sectional in the state.

We are coming close to defining ourselves. I feel good about the direction we are heading. We are learning and progressing, and our attitude is good.
districts eight nine team win
It will take getting nine or 10 to districts to win sectionals, but we could get eight to 10 to district and not come away with the sectional title. Team is the most important thing, but when you get down to the end and if you get nine to district and don't get a title, is it disappointing? It's kind of a double-edged sword.
kept last moments win
I told him to give me everything he's got left, and just go out and win that last match. There were a lot of moments he could have just quit, but he kept at it. I thought that showed a lot of character.

We won't have any motivational problems. This is the fun part, you focus in and move forward and try to accomplish individual goals.

When it comes down to a meet like this and you put two equally talented kids out there, it comes down to which one wants it more. Obviously, our little guys wanted to move on.
effort fans good special team title top undefeated
We want it to be a team effort from top to bottom, and we want to give the fans a good show. I think everyone will tell you that the traditional (tournament) title is more special because that's where the sport started, but this is special because we've been so inconsistent with injuries, and different line-ups and we have been able to go undefeated so far, even with all those things to overcome.
beat great growing move point
We beat MFL statistically everywhere, but on the scoreboard. I think it will be a great growing point as we move forward.
past prepare takes talents talked
We're doing nothing different than we have done in the past weeks. We've talked about what it takes to win. We're going to use our God-given talents and prepare mentally, and we're just going to go out and have fun.

That's more what we should be about than winning or losing.

After last week, I think our mentality is where it was last year at this time, and even better. We are going to go in and get after it.
