beginning
From the beginning I just didn't have it. I was out of control.
bases doubt good innings mind situation
That was huge. There was no doubt in my mind that was the right decision. You have to go for it in a situation with the bases loaded. If anything, I had one or two good innings left.
sure
That's up to him. But I'm sure it's unlimited.
across games guys move run
You'll run across games like that that you will lose. You just have to move on. I could tell from the first inning that guys were pumped.
We put a big inning up there and it kind of went on from there.
battling heads
Yeah, we'd like to be 10-6 or 11-5, but right now we're not. We've got to keep our heads up, keep battling out and just get going.
anyone last sure
I'm not sure anyone ever told me last year. If I am the starter, I am the starter.
help nice
It was nice just being able to help out.
game huge jump matter
No matter how you look at it, every game is huge from here on out. We don't want to jump ahead. Take them one at a time.
rough
It was just a rough day. Things snowballed.
everybody included
Everybody has to find a way to get things going together. And myself is included in that.
handed home tail
We've had our (butts) handed to us. But are we going to go home with out tail between our legs? No. We just need to keep battling.
perfect
Those things happen. I'm not going to be perfect all the time.
ball giving hard hit last mechanical opening rough throwing
You look at my stats and you'd think I'd been giving it up. I'm throwing the ball fine. There are no mechanical issues. I had a rough opening day, but I haven't been hit hard the last two starts.
