aware committed complete control director oppose thinking
I should be committed to an institution immediately for even thinking I could get away with that. These two things are opposing, they oppose one another. To be a director you have to be in complete control of the set, complete control of the surroundings, and very aware of what's going on, what's being used and what's not being used... It's insanity. To be an actor you have to be, in a sense, out of control.
thinking ideas giving
I love the idea of changing my look. I think one owes it to the audience, to go out there and give them something different each time, so as not to bore them to death.
kids thinking way-forward
I think kids, in general as an audience, are the way forward because they're not sort of sullied by intellectual expectation or this or that. It's a very pure kind of response to the work.
character makeup thinking
You do a movie, depending on the character, there's some degree of makeup involved, especially when you're playing a vampire and you're all white and kind of dead. Sleeves, regarding costumes, there are generally sleeves, which I appreciate. I think we all do.
mean thinking brain
I mean, I think everybody should probably approach a film that it's another unwanted thing. That's going to be seared onto my brain for the rest of my life. Thank you for that.
revenge men thinking
'm a big fan of revenge, I think [Sweeney Todd] it's a story of a man who clearly has obsessions to avenge the horror that happened to him.
beautiful thinking guitar
I STILL APPROACH A SCENE AS ONE WOULD APPROACH A GUITAR SOLO. YOU DON'T EXACTLY KNOW HOW YOU'RE GOING TO PHRASE THIS OR THAT. WHICH I THINK IS BEAUTIFUL. THAT IDEA OF CHANCE.
thinking over-you trying
I think, for me as an actor, if you get to a place where you're satisfied, you're happy with it, then you're dead. It's over. You're not hungry anymore. You won't try things anymore.
thinking nuts
I think everybody's nuts.
thinking alcohol drug
You never think you're on the verge of disaster while you're looking over the edge yourself. It's your friends and family who are trying to get you to stop destroying yourself and after a while it kind of sank in and I just cleaned up my act.
thinking hard-times i-can
I don’t think of myself as being a celebrity, it’s too mortifying. I have a hard time watching myself on screen and it’s getting worse. I can’t tell whether my work is good or not.
character thinking play
For me, it's always more difficult and slightly exposing to play something that's close to yourself. I always like to try to hide, just because I can't stand the way I look. But, I think it's important to change every time and come up with something that's as interesting as it can be, for your characters.
hurt mean thinking
I think today we've gone so far technologically and also just emotionally and psychologically, I mean there's a lot of crime out there and there's a lot of stuff going on. People don't care that they're going to go to prison. They couldn't give a rat about the repercussions. They go out and they do what they do and they don't care about hurting anyone else.
thinking self giving
I think Alice [Cooper] probably, on some level, recognized that good old self-destructive streak that does happen in some people's lives. So, though I wasn't there with Alice and the Vampires, but I'd give anything in the world to have been, I had my own version, I suppose, a little later.
