Brett played 20 minutes on Thursday with two turnovers. We don't have that ratio of turnovers per minutes played on our team right now. He did a really good job. I'm very pleased with what he did, and the chances are pretty good I'll probably start him again on Thursday.

Neither team was stopping each other and then Chris Hernandez had a stretch there that changed everything. The big shot he hits, the 3-pointers, and then he gets bumped and the parade continues. Having that happen where they get a lot of points at the line was one of my biggest fears.

It wasn't that he had a bad attitude. He had no attitude. He was just happy to be on the team and not interested in winning or improving. He didn't understand how hard you had to work in practice at this level. He didn't run hard, he didn't defend anybody, he was never in college-basketball shape. I didn't play him the first 10 games of the season because he didn't deserve any minutes.

We played well enough to win this game. As a team we have a significant ceiling to shoot for. There is a lot of room for this team to grow. I'm pleased with how we played. If we played this well the first three weeks we would have a different record from 7-5.

Derrick Low is a very good player, and he went after Brett. He got some buckets on him, but he was poised in terms of doing his job of running the team and getting back defending.
