Everything was cut off. Really, the Outer Banks was impacted terribly. We definitely felt like the SBA did a good job. I give them a thumbs-up.

It could really hurt downtown because of the influence of kids. They are all going to be jam-packed into the restaurants and bars that stay open.

With the way the wind blows out there, if you try to play long ball, you'll be in trouble. We'll probably be a team that doesn't have a lot of power, but makes a lot of contact, plays good defense and has a strong pitching staff.

She retires sound and could have had a very credible season this year at the track, but she really didn't have much left to prove.
