Do you realize the responsibility I carry? I'm the only person between Nixon and the White House.
There are no 'white' or 'coloured' signs on the foxholes or graveyards of battle.
A Canadian newspaperman said yesterday that this is the President's "Easter egghead roll on the White House lawn." I want to deny that!
Do you realize the responsibility I carry? I'm the only person standing between Richard Nixon and the White House.
The White House was designed by Hoban, a noted Irish-American architect, and I have no doubt that he believed by incorporating several features of the Dublin style he would make it more homelike for any President of Irish descent. It was a long wait, but I appreciate his efforts.

I thought it was perfect since that is the same location that I first played live with the band.
The path we have chosen for the present is full of hazards, as all paths are. The cost of freedom is always high, but Americans have always paid it. And one path we shall never choose, and that is the path of surrender, or submission.
