She had to work a lot. I probably should have taken her out, given her a little break, but I knew she wanted to be on the floor and I needed her on the floor because she's like a coach out there.

She's just so quick for a girl her size. If we try to go quick she'll just bull us down low. If we try to put our big girl on her, she's just too quick. They're (the Red Devils) just so good.

I have a group of seniors who played for a regional title last year and won 20 games and they know what to do.
effort extremely hit missed opportunity proud
This was a missed opportunity for us. I was extremely proud of the girl's effort tonight. We just didn't hit enough shots.
coach fun shooting team watch
We've been a streaky shooting team all year. When we're on, we're fun to watch and they're fun to coach because I don't have to do too much.

It's a nice start for the second half for us. We're 2-0 in the new year and, hopefully, we can keep it going.

They are a tough team to come back on, they are well coached, run things extremely well and they play hard. My hats off to them, they deserved it ... they won tonight. It was what a championship game should be all about. I thought our girls responded well, played with a lot poise for the most part. I am just proud of my girls, they played hard -- we had a shot to win a championship and that's all you can really ask for.
battle credit floor forget good night shooting smart
This is a smart team. When you tell them something, they go out and do it or at least try to do it. It was a credit to our seniors. Christina didn't have a good shooting night but had a good floor game. For some reason, we all battle it. You kind of forget what got you there.
coaching half pleasure
Coaching them is a pleasure. That's why when they come out and have a half like that, it's like you don't know what to do because you don't see it very often.
