I've said all along that if our perimeter holds up, we're a pretty good team. So far our perimeter hasn't shot the ball as well as maybe we would have liked, but I think we've made some timely shots in critical moments of games that have helped our team.

Tyrus Thomas really makes a difference around the goal. Every time he gets close to somebody, they think he's going to be there to block the shot it seems. So, Tyrus helps us around the goal.

Darrel's been very good at getting shots in transition. When he gets it on an outlet pass, he is so fast. He can make a three on the dead sprint or if you go out on him, he'll go right by you and take it to the hole. I would hate to have to guard Darrel Mitchell, especially the way he was playing in the first half.

That's the best defense without fouling -- as physical a game as I thought it was -- that we've seen. We drove the ball inside almost every trip down the floor and we shot foul shots six times. That's pretty good guarding to me.

He's a special player. I call him the silent assassin, because he never says a word. But he'll get you. He's just as consistent a person as I've been around. He's blossomed at point guard after struggling early. He's embraced that roll. He almost didn't miss a shot tonight.

We might just have to play Tyrus in short stretches. As opposed to playing him 12 or 14 minutes straight, maybe he can just go five and we'll take him out, let him rest and put him back in. The more he plays, the better he'll feel and the more comfortable he'll feel. We'll make more of a determination of that as the week goes on.

We're usually 69, 70 percent at the line. If you're not making field goals, the next thing you try to do is try and make it up at the foul line. We had 28 free throws, but we couldn't make those, either. It was that kind of night for us.

I've tried to eliminate that from my thought process. But I got it. Trust me. I got it from so many people. I got it. I know it was disappointing to us as coaches and to our players and extremely disappointing to our fans.

I've never had a player have an injury like that. Usually it's a matter of tightening up a shoe and gutting it out. We lost Kevin for seven games and he's still not 100 percent.
