consistent decisions guard point proven throughout
I think Kentucky's where it is because of its backcourt. Alabama's where it is because of its point guard. I think I'm where I am because I don't have a point guard who's proven that he can make consistent decisions throughout the season.

adjust ball best coming couple defensive effort game good guard handle screens team ways works
We've got to have a good team defensive effort on him. It will be about how we handle him coming off screens without the ball and how we handle him when he comes off screens with the ball. There'll be a couple of different ways that we'll try to guard him, and we'll see which one works the best as the game progresses and adjust as we go.
dead gets good guard hate outlet playing shots sprint three
Darrel's been very good at getting shots in transition. When he gets it on an outlet pass, he is so fast. He can make a three on the dead sprint or if you go out on him, he'll go right by you and take it to the hole. I would hate to have to guard Darrel Mitchell, especially the way he was playing in the first half.
couple guard looked opened
It looked like Vanderbilt, they weren't going to come out and guard our posts. They were going to back off. Glen made a couple and really kind of opened it up.
chance college concern good guard major time win
They're a guard-oriented, perimeter-oriented team. Any time you have good guard play in college basketball, you have a chance to win some games. That's our major concern right now.
ability bigger execution guard guy mitchell needed ourselves physical rhythm seemed struggling
I think the ability of Felix to guard Darrel Mitchell as he did -- a bigger guy, a physical guy on Darrel -- we never really got ourselves in a rhythm on offense. It seemed like to me we were always struggling on offense. For the most part, our execution wasn't where it needed to be.
almost call consistent embraced guard miss point says shot silent special struggling
He's a special player. I call him the silent assassin, because he never says a word. But he'll get you. He's just as consistent a person as I've been around. He's blossomed at point guard after struggling early. He's embraced that roll. He almost didn't miss a shot tonight.
anybody concerned disrupt good guards job players playing rely screen setting start team three
Their two guards could start for anybody in our league. We're going to have to do a very good job of making our team concerned with where they are, what set they're in, who is setting the screen and what we're going to do to disrupt them, because the other three players really rely on those two guards playing well.
asked consistent guard player point
I don't think there is a player that has been more consistent and has also been asked to play the point guard position, which he has never played. That is significant.
ben great man people send tried
We tried to send people stunting and tried to man up on him, but Ben had great feet.
against ball quick score tried
We tried to score a little too quick against their zone. We got the ball where we wanted, but we tried to score without getting the ball reversed.
man playing stop
We were playing man and couldn't really stop them.
determination five goes maybe might minutes opposed playing rest short week
We might just have to play Tyrus in short stretches. As opposed to playing him 12 or 14 minutes straight, maybe he can just go five and we'll take him out, let him rest and put him back in. The more he plays, the better he'll feel and the more comfortable he'll feel. We'll make more of a determination of that as the week goes on.
