Joseph Eugene Porteris a former American football linebacker who played thirteen seasons in the National Football League, and is the current outside linebackers coach for the Pittsburgh Steelers. After playing college football at Colorado State, he was drafted by the Steelers in the third round of the 1999 NFL Draft. You can forget he's a second-year guy because he's out there so poised. He's not nervous. I've been around a lot of quarterbacks. I've been around quarterbacks who have played eight or nine years and are put in pressure situations and the pressure gets to them.
