We had some chances. It seemed like we had some nice shots that wouldn't fall or they'd hit a free throw or a tough basket.

Everything in the shot chart in the first quarter was underneath the basket. Maybe they were a little bit more physical than we were at the start of the game or maybe we didn't box out as well as we normally do.

John was not really pleased with his finish today. The boys are young and we have freshmen who just finished their second meet. They are still trying to get used to things.

Those two have been really good. John as a senior is taking on greater responsibility and Isaac is taking on that role as only as sophomore.

It'll be a learning process I'm sure, but they've worked hard in practice. I think they're enjoying what they're doing and they want to get better.

With those five, especially in practice, I just think they've run real well together and that gives us something to build on.

A lot of those teams normally are district teams for us, so we can kind of see how we measure up.

I thought defensively we were in their faces the whole night. I don't know if they really ever got an open look at anything. I think we got a lot of deflections and then people ran the court awfully well.

He's very hard working and very dedicated. He enjoys the sport and enjoys running.

I like how our girls ran today. We ran close to each other as a team and that is a positive. We just hope we can get closer to the rest of the field together. This is a good group of girls.
