There's no carry-over ... What happened in the regular season doesn't matter. They've had a tremendous year, they've got an excellent hockey team and it's going to be tough. But we believe in ourselves.
It's a good feeling to be in this position, but we also know they have a great hockey team.
We know that Dallas isn't going to quit. We are up 3-0 and we want to do whatever we can not give them any momentum. We don't want to go back to Dallas if we don't have to. They have such a great hockey team over there and nobody here wants them to get a win and get on a roll.
They have a great hockey club. We're back there next time, so hopefully we have a better performance.
They're a good hockey team. They're a hockey team that's fast and works their butts off.
They have such a great hockey club, they get a win, they get on a roll. Nobody here wants that to happen.
This is where he belongs. He assembled the team. When you think of Canada, you think of hockey and you think of Wayne Gretzky. This is where he should be.
As a hockey player, it's great to be a part of this race.
We're pretty excited about winning. That's a great hockey team over there. I thought they were flat. It was a bad day for them.
Any time you play them it's a great hockey game. There's a great history there and it's exciting.
Hockey has given me everything, most importantly it brought me to Swift Current, where I met my wife Deb.
You need a lot of leaders, but a hockey team needs a voice, not only in the community, but more importantly between the coaching staff and the players. There are always ups and downs in a season; the captain is the guy players look to in those situations.
When you think of hockey, when you think of Canada, you think of Wayne Gretzky.
I'm leaving the game of hockey with nothing but great memories.
