I'm hoping this is an apolitical type of award. I happen to have voted for him. I think he's doing as well as he can. The only thing I wished he didn't do was go into Iraq.

She comes every day to practice and works real hard. She's a great kid. She gets a lot of offensive rebounds and she's been learning the post moves. She's come a long way. She just fights for everything she gets. She's really a hustler. She's certainly been the backbone offensively along with Jess Donovan.

The players were disappointed that we couldn't play. It was the right decision. We would have risked injuries if we had played. It would have been an intense game. There was no traction on the court.

We thought about playing at Southern Maine Community College, but that didn't work out. We also couldn't play against a city rival in our small gym at the school, so we decided to just flip-flop our home and away games.
