felt game next pressure push three understand win
We felt like we were in all three games, and we understand that's important. On the other hand, each day you don't win a game, you've got to come out and push a little more. Not to put too much pressure on ourselves, but the next game is a big one for us.

I think they were supportive, too, a lot more supportive than I thought they'd be with us coming in here 1-6. You know, I think the fans of Pittsburgh want to see good baseball, they want to see hustle, and they want to see wins.

I didn't get drafted my senior year, ... I got offered a contract by the Brewers for $1,500 from Sal Bando. I decided to go to college instead, and it worked out pretty well.
everybody finish letting pressure stay
I don't feel like we have a lot of pressure on us, but we feel like we need to finish the job. We keep letting everybody stay in this thing.

easier hurting jason offense pitches
One of the things hurting our offense right now is that we're pressing. Jason has to just keep doing what he's doing. Eventually, we'll get on track, and it will get easier for him to get pitches to hit.
along casey guys heat mix pirates pressure pushing sean teach veteran
The Pirates have now started to mix in some veteran guys along the way, which I think is so important. Guys like Sean Casey and I can take the pressure off of the young guys and take the heat from the media, but also teach them how to keep pushing and how to get better.
against games playing teams
We've been playing a lot of high-intensity games against teams that are in do-or-die situations,
