It was one of those nights I was seeing it well, ... Maybe it had something to do with Jacque moving behind me. I had a couple of good at-bats. But tonight it felt good, felt comfortable at the plate.
I was trying to hit the ball hard somewhere, but both times right at people,
I think I had more takes than the kid did.
It didn't feel too good and every inning after it kept getting worse.
We never quit. We'll keep coming at you.
Well, what do you want me to do about it?
We were just talking about how we're not sure we ever scored 11, 12 runs last season.

It was one of those nights I was seeing it well,
We didn't have those situations a whole lot, to tell you the truth. It was a good win last night. And I think we're starting to get more confident on the offensive side.
It's just one spot. We'll try to do something different and score a couple more runs, but I'll have the same approach that I always have.
It's kind of a tough deal, because I'd like more time to work with each pitcher. It is what it is. I'm sure they will both be ready, but as to how much I'll know of them, we'll just have to wait until we get to that point, I guess.
It was the middle of the season and there were a lot of people there. I went up there and walked on four pitches my first at-bat and people started booing because they wanted to see me swing. It doesn't seem like you've quite made it, though, when you're playing in a small town like that. It was fun to get out and play, though.
Stuff-wise, he's been better. But he threw the changeup pretty well tonight.
