everybody issue
Everybody is so different. So the issue is where they all get to know one another.
avoid early good great hear rush wants
We just want to avoid the same kind of early rush back like we did the first time. He's going to tell you it's great. He's going to tell you he wants to play, and that's all good -- it's great to hear that. But we don't want to have him have another setback.
competition prepared shakes statements toward
There's some competition out there, absolutely. We've got to see how it all shakes down toward the end, and I'm not prepared to make any kind of overt statements right now. But there's competition there.
couple days
We need him where he is for a couple of days and then we'll put him back.
command
To command it at 40-something, that's not easy.
cage good guy hands normally somebody stand stuff uses watch
I don't even have to see stuff like that. I stand by the cage and I watch how somebody uses their hands. And when you get a big person who uses his hands well, they normally have pretty good power. And he's a big guy and uses his hands really well.
ball guy heavy hits left normally patterns rows single
You have to look for heavy patterns. You just don't do it. Once you see the heavy patterns you go with it. When a guy hits a single to left when he normally hits a ball 13 rows up, I'll take the single to left.
beat close expect game good pitching red win

When you have pitching like they do, you can't expect to come in here and go toe-to-toe with them and beat them 9-8 all the time. You're just not going to do it.
backup difficult moment spring step written
It's not how we've written it up in spring training, but the show must go on. The other people, the backup people, have to step up and get it done, and they will. It's just a difficult moment right now. That's all, but nobody's quitting.
difficult moment nobody written
It's not how it was written up this spring. The show must go on. It's a difficult moment right now. But nobody is quitting.
great group keeps power skill talking team
Everyone keeps talking about how we have no power, but athleticism. There's great skill on this team offensively, but we have some power there. This group can be a well-balanced team. We have some fascinating players.
group hard stay wear
It's always hard to have to come from behind. It can wear you down. We as a group have to stay away from the big inning.
hard wear
It's always hard to come from behind. It can wear you out.
almost bus difference exactly felt led rides turned
It was different than I have been led to believe. I felt like I was in Arizona. The bus rides weren't bad. It was almost exactly like doing it in Arizona, as it turned out. No difference for me.
