As time goes on, guys are going to start realizing that we can stay in games. Hopefully that will transpire into getting more and more experience with it so that late in games, we can hold onto those victories that we should win.

It's a tough time to have it for me to go, but it's a nice honor. I grew up in a great town and had a great childhood. The people of Peoria and East Peoria were great to me. The town gave me every opportunity in life to succeed. I think that's all you can ask for as a kid.

He was underneath the ball a little bit and he didn't have command of his fastball. That's going to happen in his first time out.
