field free given missing second shot throws
I would I have given myself an 'A,' but it was the combination of missing those free throws and what I shot from the field in the second game.
hard hat
Put on a hard hat and come play.
effort expected green home house team totally
You get a team at home and when they get back to their house they're a totally different team. We're used to that and we expected this effort out of Green Bay.
came target
We came with a target on our back.
pressure
We have nothing to lose. The pressure is on them.
impressed maybe people physical size stayed
If anything, it stayed the same or maybe went up some. A lot of people will be impressed with my physical size and strength.
good gotten midnight talk
We already had good chemistry. It's only gotten better. We talk all the time, even at midnight if we think of something good.
advantage bigger bring force guard guys
The bigger conferences have a lot of big guys. We had to bring those big guys to the perimeter and force them to guard us. We had an advantage doing it, so we had to go to it.
attention cinderella everybody knows last tournament year
We were Cinderella last year; now everybody knows about us. There's no surprise. It's kind of funny. We never get attention during the year and during tournament time, we are the favorite. How is that possible?
experience runs stayed stop ways
That's where experience comes in. You know there's going to be runs in the game. You've got to find a way to stop the runs. ... We had to find ways to get baskets and get to the free-throw line. But the most important thing is that we stayed poised.
knew needed
I think we knew we needed to get something out of pressure.
bigger early game guys nba shot teams tournament younger
I think that because guys go to the NBA so early (at bigger programs) it evens the game out. A lot of the mid-majors in the tournament get a shot when a lot of other teams have younger guys.
good job past
I think in the past we've kind of been a third-tier team. Marquette and Wisconsin. But I think if you look around the tournament, we've been doing a good job lately.
blow foul game good job tried
(The coaches) said I did a good job of getting to the foul line. I know how to get fouled. I know how to make the refs blow the whistle, and that's one of the things I tried to put in my game this year. Even when you're not making shots, you can always get to the free-throw line.
