I had two good swings (in the first four plate appearances), so I went back to the cage and worked with my personal hitting coach Shane Victorino on my swing some more. We put up just enough hits and runs for me to get another at-bat.

He's trying to pitch. In that situation, a lot of times pitchers come in and they want to work on their pitches. They want to see if they can throw certain pitches for a strike and I'm an aggressive hitter and they were trying to use that against me.

There's no need to run around crazy. It's like pitchers. The first couple of weeks they're throwing all fastballs or working on stuff, then eventually they put it all together. So far I've been watching pitchers, trying to get the timing down.
