We're not great with sending flowers. We wanted to do something to remember her by. She really enjoyed Lincoln's Tomb. We talked with Nan, and she suggested this seat, an L-shaped bench with flower containers near a spot where people tend to stand and take pictures - quiet, shady - a nice place for a bench.

We're really emphasizing team play and team effort, which is what is going to give us any chance to beat some of the good teams left on our schedule.

We had no reported damage to the Office of Emergency Management, and no damage was observed during our survey of the county.

I think if you look at this tournament, you can see where we played well, and it was a big confidence boost for us. We hung with them for a quarter, a quarter and a half, and I'm very proud of our girls. It was a great atmosphere, and we're fortunate that Dr. (Lawrence) Wyllie allows us to have a boys-girls tournament like this.

We can build all these freeways in Phoenix, but these little projects mean a lot to the communities. These paths are being used, and that's the important thing about it.

They've now got the proper permits and have gotten things cleaned up. All the conditions were met, and we gave them an OK.

Every now and then I'll have kind of a close call where I have to step back or have to yell at a car where they're coming right at me. It doesn't happen often, but it happens frequently enough that I never 'don't' look when I cross at a crosswalk.

This was a big win to come from behind like we did. Hopefully we can keep things going after two wins in the tournament.
