against change good half night pressed second time
The second half would have been a good night to play against anybody. Every time you made a change ... You pressed us? We dunked it. You zoned us? We 3-pointed it.
banner chance fight god national second thank year
Thank god we have him. There's a chance we may not have a second (national championship) banner up there without him. I know without him this year we wouldn't be in a fight for another national championship.
incredible second
Marcus had an incredible triple-double. He had an incredible first half. He didn't have an incredible second half.
seconds shooting shot shots team
We've got to take away 3-point shooting and not get fatigued by the shot clock. They make as many shots under 12 seconds as any team you're going to play.
civic half kids matched playing pride quite scoreboard second won
I don't want our kids playing the scoreboard because, quite frankly, we won't always be here at the Civic Center. In the second half we matched baskets and we won by five. I don't think we should do that. We should take more pride in what we're doing.
beat decision gerry great happen hit last remember seconds shot three time
I can't remember the last time we were up three with 11 seconds to go and lost. We got beat by that shot by Gerry. Anything can happen in overtime. We made the decision of who would have the assignment. Gerry made a better play and hit a great 3.
blizzard impressed second team
We were a blizzard inside, too, in that second half. I'm not usually impressed by my team much. But we were really good.
against basketball believe five guys happened lose maybe mood players plays refuse seconds washington winners
They find a way to win. A lot of the things that happened against Washington were plays that players make. Guys who refuse to lose a basketball game, guys who are down by five with 30 seconds to go but don?t believe they?re going to lose. And that, as a coach, you don?t teach. Maybe you try to set the mood that we?re still here, but you can?t set the mood if you don?t have winners with you.
knee second
Denham's knee was stiffening up so we didn't play him in the second half.
believe decent second shot
They shot 6-of-7 from 3 in the second half. That's decent shooting, I believe.
anybody best coaching deal great grief loved second single
Khalid El-Amin put up with a great deal of grief on the road. And it was the best coaching that anybody could have done for me, because Khalid loved every single second of it. He loved to show you.
bad certainly concern defense fact game hides key second
I would say our defense got us going, but it certainly wasn't the key to the game because I thought we let up many, many times. They all elevate. It hides sometimes bad defense. That was my concern tonight, the fact they were penetrating, particularly in the second half.
becoming ben gifts good great january pushing realize second showcase starting understand year
I think in his second year with us, Caron started to realize in January just how good he could be with a lot of pushing and prodding. Ben was the same way. I think Rudy (Gay) is starting to understand some of the great gifts that he has and he's starting to showcase them a lot more and just becoming a better player.
allowed believer dumb great kid people second selfish terrific
He's a terrific kid who made a dumb, dumb selfish mistake. He's not the first and he won't be the last, unfortunately. Hopefully, it's not going to be on my watch. I'm a great believer that people should be allowed and are allowed a second chance.
