I was a rural mail carrier for 30 years. I stopped at everyone's house to deliver the mail, so I knew them by name.
Everybody does good things, but I'm talking about making major changes in the educational system that would impact an entire race. I'm talking about stopping these young gang members from killing one another. I'm talking about keeping prisons from overflowing.
If you help disabled children, it's very appealing. If you help kids with cancer, those are the things you get credit for and those things are beautiful. But when it comes to stopping violence or really putting the time into rebuilding schools, that's just a different kind of project. It takes more than just money to do that.
In the study we're doing, we're looking at assessing both the local and express service, evaluating the fare policy and structure and the new service feasibility, with emphasis on two areas in the county being Kennesaw-Acworth in the northwest and Powder Springs-Austell in the southwest. We are also looking at comprehensive bus stop evaluation and looking at those elements like condition and signage and so forth.
We went from third to eighth or ninth real quick.
We certainly haven't given up hope because we see what they can do - their potential. We've got to find a way to transfer that into when the tournament starts.
We are trying to see who can perform under those conditions.
They all know that they have to play better. Most of it is course management and short game. We have really been trying to concentrate on that the whole year.
