Don't ask me to compare myself to a half-a-season guy who didn't have to play in the snow or with blood in his nose or every third-and-1. Bo Jackson is a very fortunate person.
It was really disappointing down there. It was a tough field, but that's the way I have always scheduled. I want our guys to play tough competition to see what it takes to get to that level.
Why? That little guy, man. In one year, that little guy has brought about a miracle.
We were hoping to get the team right after this tournament. We were hoping some guys would play good and we'd say OK this is our five guys.
That's what we were hoping for, gain a little momentum heading into the Big Ten. We have as good a chance as anybody if our guys play the way they can.
A couple of the guys played fairly decent but three of them really struggled.
I was just a big guy running down with a big, deep pocket and little short stick putting it against my chest.
We went from third to eighth or ninth real quick.
We certainly haven't given up hope because we see what they can do - their potential. We've got to find a way to transfer that into when the tournament starts.
We are trying to see who can perform under those conditions.
They all know that they have to play better. Most of it is course management and short game. We have really been trying to concentrate on that the whole year.
During the tournament we didn't perform the way we should.
The sound of airboats on lakes, rivers and wetlands has become a controversial subject in Florida in recent years, ... Increased development in these areas, in part, has resulted in increased sound complaints from homeowners and outdoor enthusiasts.
See. There's a lot of teaching going on out there. That's where it all begins.
