Every skier contributed to the scoring. We were very balanced.
boys definitely simple ski
Marquette is definitely the favorite, but I think our boys will be right there. If we ski the way we can, we'll qualify. It's as simple as that.
confidence finishing girls states thinking winning
Winning that first one is a big confidence booster. I don't think the girls will be going to states (Feb. 27) thinking about finishing second.
nice run state taken
If we had Betsy we think we could have taken a run at Marquette (for the state title). But we still have a nice group. Even without her we're pretty good.
compete doubt
No doubt if she had been able to compete she'd be nationally ranked.
absolutely disaster pouring since weather
It's absolutely pouring right now, and it has been since one o'clock. The weather has been a disaster, but we'll get it done.
bunch instead skiing talented team time
We're getting better and better, and we're skiing as a team instead of a bunch of talented individuals. That's really important at this time of year.

We're off to a great start, but it's early yet. I thought both (boys and girls) competed very well as a team.
high row school ski worked
It's really sad. Two years in a row - and she worked so hard. She wanted to ski high school so badly, but now she won't have those memories.
