games starting sustain team throws win
This is starting to become who we are. We feel that we are going to win these games and have the wherewithal to sustain anything any team throws at us.
bought gold hoping league nobody pot starting
Nobody in this league is going to tell you that they don't want to start. I've bought into it, hoping there's a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. But do I feel I could be starting on this team? Hell, yeah.
coming continue feels few gets hopefully maybe people playing shots starting
I like playing with Damp. People make a lot about him being out of the starting lineup and coming off the bench, but I think he feels comfortable playing with me because he gets a few more shots maybe than he gets in the starting lineup. So it's been working out well. Hopefully we can continue to get better.
element flow game needles pins sitting starting waiting year
I like starting the game, getting into a flow early. It's like sitting on pins and needles waiting to get into the game off the bench. I've done it for a year and half. It was cool, but I feel more in my element (starting).
among expect point teams top western win
We're spoiled. We're at a point now where we expect to win them all. We're among the top teams in the Western Conference, if not the top team. We expect to win all the time.
matter pieces system
When you've got a system that works, it doesn't matter the pieces. But it's a lot better when you've got all the pieces working.
against eight glad golden great matter playoffs prove seed state team time tough warriors
We're still a great team in a great position. We still have a lot that we want to prove once the playoffs get here, no matter what seed we are or who we're playing. But I'm kind of glad the Golden State Warriors aren't one of the eight (playoff teams). We've had a tough time against them this year.
capable defense flow games good indicative playing second winning
We know we're capable of playing good defense and actually winning games with our defense. I think Game 1 was indicative of that and (in) Game 2, we were able to get in a good flow offensively, as well as put good defense on them in the second half.
basketball bit good longer played playing seem stretch
We've been here a long time. We seem to tighten things up on the road. We've been experiencing a little bit of a lull. But we played good basketball for a lot longer stretch than we've been playing not-so-good basketball.
best cylinders good hit sign
We have yet to play our best basketball. That?s a good sign to be up 2-0 and not have hit on all cylinders yet.
early heels kept last
We didn't want to let down after last night. We got them on their heels early and kept it up.
create energy expect force good guys happen job quite step talented veteran wants younger
Our veteran guys have to step up. Our younger guys, we can't expect them to be there yet. As talented and as good as they are, we can't expect them to create their energy and their enthusiasm. Sometimes you've got to force it out of them and I think that's what Avery wants to see happen and that's what we've just got to do. Quite frankly, we haven't been doing as good a job as we need to be.
basketball bite felt
I went for a rebound, felt a stiff-arm, and it was Horry. It was a basketball play, a heat-of-the-moment thing. I didn't see him try to bite me.
couple glad hit last rose shot sure
I was able to make sure we got the last shot and I rose up and hit it. I had a couple before that I thought were going down, but I'm glad I got the one that counted.
