golf love thinking
I was thinking to myself yesterday, 'You know, I'm 3-over and I still love the golf course,'
career feelings gentleman good move quite sat true types watched
I sat on the 18th and watched it all unfold. To see a true gentleman like that and what he's done for the game, it did move me quite a bit. Those are the types of feelings I want to take with me. I don't want to be a miserable, old, crusty man. I want to know I had a good career out there.
care winning
Winning here would be that much more special, but a win is a win. I don?t care where it is.
dead inches left three
I left three (putts) dead in the jar, 2 inches short.
bit control last love mental physical playing total year
I love this game. I love playing well. I was in total control of my physical and mental side, and I haven't been able to say that at all in the last year and a half. I've had a little bit of a rebirth.
body breaks good guess months played time until
I've just always played a lot in the fall, and it's not like I'm going to take a lot of time off. I get two months off at the end of the season, and that's good enough for me. I guess I play too much, but I'm just going to keep doing that until my body breaks down.
absolutely fall guys majors season top trying
The fall is absolutely important. The top 10 guys can say 'OK, the season is kind of over once the majors are over,' but you have another 200 guys trying to make a living.
short
Boston's for the bombers. I'm a short hitter.
good
We should have a good crowd. It'll be fun.
chase course guy less mature phil shoot stopped time
You get a course like this where it's really long for a guy like me. Phil can shoot at a lot of pins, but there's not that many times out there I have less than a 7-iron. . . . What I don't want to do is chase long drives, but I'm mature enough that I stopped doing that a long time ago.
finish hurt positives shoot
There's always positives when you shoot 65 to finish second. It's just that the positives hurt a whole lot more than usual.
awful bit eight feet finish five hurt literally negatives positives rounds shoot shot six within
There's always positives when you shoot 65 and finish second, just the negatives hurt a little bit more. You know, I had my chances. I had probably six putts like that that I missed. And when I look back and say I shot 7-under, but I literally had five within six, eight feet that didn't go in. So it was one of those rounds where I could have got an awful lot more out of it.
bit finish hurt positives shoot
There's always positives when you shoot 65 and finish second. It's just the positives hurt a little bit more. I had all of my chances.
became definitely happy match opposite
This is definitely one of the tournaments that I wasn't happy it became an opposite event. I'm really happy the Match Play is going to be here so we can come back.
