Sophie [Kinsella]'s writing just captivated me. We bought this eight years ago, before it became an international success and was only one book. Now there's five. So, we were very fortunate to latch onto a character who has since become an international success both as a novel and hopefully now as a movie.
Well, I feel that we're kind of fortunate that this book gives the whole world a lesson in economics and how to get out of the mess that we're all in. It's basic message is to try and stop spending as much and try to release some of your assets to pay off your debt.
We hope that audiences around the world embrace the picture in the same way they have the books and that hopefully Disney will allow us make another one.
I think it's the source material. 27 Dresses was a famous book, and Devil Wears Prada was also a wonderful book, so it's coming out of the novelists who are really creating these wonderful female characters that we want to see on the big screen.

We love process. We love going inside - to see how something works.
We don't live our lives the same way; we don't look at things the same way. We've changed the way we travel; we've changed just about everything.
Kids should know about this coach and these players. Because of them, they have the privilege to be able to play.
Look, I've made enough money that I never have to do another show, but I love what I do, and I'll keep doing it as long as I enjoy it.
I think all of us like to do things to the best of our ability and it has nothing to do with competition factor, it has to do with quality.
The fact that we're here and we believe the infrastructure is ... not going to detain us in any way in making the movie means that a lot of films will come back here.
In TV we've used something that I love... it's called process. I love process.
They know what the company does. They know what a good idea for a movie or a show is. And they understand the kinds of things that we do.
