fine help knew talked
We had already talked a little about it. I knew what was going on. I'm fine with it. Any way I can help the team.
control spot whatever
I still have to do my job. In whatever spot you're in, in the rotation, all you can control is what you do.
broken happy hurt shock
I thought it was broken at first. I won't say that it hurt so much as it was the shock of the hit. I'm just happy it is what it is.
ball command five last pitches threw worried
I thought I threw the ball well. It was a lot better than my last start. My command was there, so I'm not really worried about the five runs. I threw all my pitches for strikes, so I can't really complain.
cry sit
That's the way it goes, man, ... What are you going to do? Can't sit here and cry about it.
eagle enjoy fast fourth fun job last opening sat sit stuff taken watching worried year
Opening day last year went so fast for me it was like I didn't really get to enjoy any of the stuff that went on because I was more worried about what was my job and going out and pitching. This year it was kind of fun to be able to sit back. I think this is the most I've actually taken in from opening day, watching the B-1 come over and the eagle and stuff; that was incredible. This is my fourth one, but I feel like this is the first one where I really sat and watched.
crowds great
I think we're going to have a lot more crowds like this. We've got a great team, and we're going to be in it for a long time.
five job runs
I'm not getting the job done. I get five runs and then give up six. It's terrible.
came game love watching
I love watching him. When he came in the game yesterday, it was awesome.
learned tremendous
I've learned a tremendous amount. Like going into this start, I'm not nervous. I will be when I get here, but that's just part of the game.
cheer craig except home run
Not a lot to cheer about except for the home run Craig hit.
front good home hopefully house reason
It'll be good to be home in front of all the fans. It'll be a packed house like it always is, and hopefully we can give them a reason to come back and see us.
doctors infection spread
Doctors say the infection has not spread to his chest,
gonna great hitting pitching playing
We've got a great team. We're gonna be in (contention) for a long time. We're pitching pretty well, hitting and playing defense. We keep doing all those things, we're gonna be there in September.
