chances game played until win
We played well enough to win the game - we just couldn't get it done. We had chances until the end.

The guys are hurt and frustrated. We just can't get it done. We had chances up until the end. The disappointment level is up there.
finish talked time
We talked about it. We don't want to finish there. We don't want to come in last. This is our time to do it.

We wish Dwayne well. We certainly could use him, but we want guys here that want to be at Auburn.
against confidence four freshmen nice physical tough worry
With four freshmen starting, you always worry about the confidence of your team. It was nice to be able to get one against Georgia, a very physical and tough team.
clock offensive rebound running shot time
We wanted to take one (shot) and have time to get an offensive rebound. We got the rebound and got jammed pretty good. The clock was running down and we shot it pretty quickly. We got the look we wanted the first time.
kids maybe points score tennessee
We do not score 64 points in games. We have had maybe 10 games, maybe, where we have not scored 64 points. Our kids battled, but Tennessee was too good.

doubt eye needed win

ball difficult
That's what they do. They make it difficult to get the ball inbounds.
coming dominated forward glass guys inside state stronger terrific
Mississippi State dominated us on the glass in our first game. They're coming in after a big win. (Sophomore forward Charles) Rhodes is a terrific player. He's so much stronger than our inside guys right now.
brightest foul stretch
We're small. We have to play aggressively. We can't back off because we're too little. We don't play the brightest by any stretch of the imagination. We just make some plays. If I had any hair, it would be out. We foul way too much. All of that has to do with us being small. We really have to play that way, but we have to be smarter.
playing
We can't play them man-to-man, so we had to do a lot of stuff, playing zone.
With a lot of youngsters on the court, you never know what to expect.
