best couple freshman games hard high hit injured knew played player plays state win won
She's won two state championships (in high school). In those two championships, she made the plays to win the game. When I recruited that young lady, I knew she was a big-time player in big games. She's had a hard freshman year. She got injured and she got sick. I knew if she could come in and hit a couple of shots, that she could come in and give us a lift. That's the kind of player she is. She played one of her best games of the season.
honored memories number special wonderful
This is very special to me to have that number up there. I'm very honored . . .I've had a lot of wonderful memories in this building.
conference fans finals habit hope last locker picked proud rooms routines sixth won
We were here last week. I am really proud of this team. We were picked sixth and won the conference. We made it to the finals of the conference tournament. I think habit is a big part of the game. We go through routines as a team. We know the facility. We know the locker rooms better than anyone. We know the altitude. We hope to get fans from the conference. We feel really comfortable here.
absolutely credit determined huge sure won
Jennie's a gamer. I give a lot of credit to New Mexico's players, but she was absolutely determined to make sure we won this game. She was huge for us.
extremely hard lets offense player proud special works
I'm extremely proud of Ambrosia. She is a special player who works hard and just lets the offense come to her.
bodies call floor hope next players post sitting strength sure uses
I hope they let them play. If they call it close, then I hope they call them on her (Paris) too, because she bodies up and uses her strength to her advantage. But we're going to go through it and make sure our post players know that it's more important for them to be on the floor than sitting next to me.
came game proud together
I'm just really proud of these young ladies. They came together and got it done, it was a big game for us.
ability ball exactly played proud road solid talent team win
I'm very proud of this team. This is the way we've played on the road all year. Our team is solid and confident. We know that if we get down, we have the talent and ability to come back and win the ball game. That is exactly what we did tonight.
best depth game good inside left outside players presence rely stop team
In a three-game tournament, you can't rely on your outside game. You've got to have good players inside and you have to be able to stop people. We have the most depth and the best inside presence of any team left in the tournament.
both defense defensive excellent great inside job offense players proud taking top
It was a great defensive effort. We're proud of our inside players both on offense and defense. Melinda and Jenny did an excellent job taking out their top two players.
ideas last mind played teams thoughts watched
I've had a lot of thoughts going through my mind and I've watched a lot of film the last day to see how teams have played her. We have some ideas and we're going to try a lot of different things to see what works.
came good hard indicative nice played team
It was a nice win. It was something this team needed. TCU is a very good team. We really came out and played hard -- that's indicative by the 51 rebounds.
excited happy help nice played players win
It was a nice win for us. We're very excited to advance. I'm very happy with how we played and I think we had a lot of players come in and help us win.
came good guard hard hitting took
They came out and defensively took it to us. When they're hitting 3s like that it's hard to guard them because (Dionne) Marsh is so good inside.
