advantage becomes good match unorthodox
In the Big East, we're so unorthodox that it becomes an advantage for us. What we're going to find out (today) is, 'will that be good for us, or will they be able to match us real well?' I don't know.
adjust almost beat challenged east ferocious finesse level matched matter night physical physically playing prepared record style team teams
I think night in and night out the level of physical play you're going to be matched with will be something they'll have to adjust to. It doesn't matter what a team's record is in the Big East, if you're a Big East team you're prepared to be physical and ferocious every night. I don't know of any teams have a finesse style of play. It's almost like playing football, where you can physically get beat up. You're going to get physically challenged every night.
coming decide deep enthusiasm excited goal goes hoping looks matched slow time toward
I don't want to slow him down at all right now because he's excited about the possibility of coming back. I know he looks at it as his goal and I don't want to take away his dream. And if he does decide to play, I'm going to let him. I'm hoping as time goes on, his enthusiasm is matched with some deep thinking, which I think it will be, and then we look more toward the future.
great seen talented
We have seen (Russia), they are very talented and a very tough, disciplined team. It should be a great battle.
seed
There is pressure. You don't want to be the first one seed to go down to a 16 seed.
great loved
We loved being here. It was great being comfortable here.
against execute
We've just got to execute better against better teams.
good hurting job
We did a very good job and I give (Smith) credit. He was hurting us in the first half. He's really good.
effective hurt kept press
When our press was effective at times, it kept them from getting into their (half-court) sets. When they got into their sets, he hurt us.
al both great guys job kyle
When both guys went with Al ... Kyle Lowry actually did a great job of offing to Allan and got it to (Sheridan). It was a great play by all three.
depending knew people teams three
We knew there were going to be times that we're going to play bigger, even three forwards depending on teams we play. It's not real complicated. We can put people in different spots.
body defensive excited fresh good kept mike
We kept Mike and Allan on (McNamara). We wanted to keep a fresh body on him. These two are very good defensive players. They really get excited about guarding people.
blew hit night prepared three
You have to be prepared to have an off-shooting night and still win. We could have hit two or three more threes and everyone would have said we blew them out.
advantage closed couple looks
We had a couple of looks that went in and out. That was our chance. You only get so many opportunities and we didn't take advantage and they closed us out.
