Do we pass up Mike to wait for Mustafa. That's what it came down to. We weren't going to pass up on Mike. We still tried to recruit Mustafa after that point and he told us that he wasn't interested.

They came at us in the second half like they were going to show us that they're the No. 1 team in the nation, and we weren't ready for that. But then we responded.

They were so intense that we had to back off, but we accomplished what we needed. They had a very businesslike approach. They came to each workout with a purpose and that enabled us to accomplish what we needed to get done.

He did that his whole high school career. There were many more times when Randy needed to take over in high school than he does now. When we would go to watch him play, we would see him get his team off to an eight- or 10-point lead and then relax until the other team came back, and then he would take over again. He did that his whole high school career. It?s been our biggest challenge with him, but it?s also what makes him such a special player. No matter what went on prior in the game, when the game is on the line, he?s ready to take over.

I'm very pleased with our team, we just didn't execute. This was one of those games that could've gone either way. I thought we did a decent job, we just came up a little short.

If he and Mike came, we wouldn't be able to get Kyle (Lowry). If we didn't get Mike and got (Shakur), we probably could get Kyle. Players like playing with good players. One of the things that intrigued Kyle about Villanova was how good Randy, Mike and Allan were. When he came and played with them I think he was impressed. Sometimes some of these guys like being around other real good players and I think that's what happened in Kyle's case.

The league is a grind. There was just never a time to relax. Every game was a huge game, no matter who came in.

We just got a report from the doctor at the hospital, and it is great news. It actually looked a lot worse than it was. Al is going to be released, and he has vision.

We will sit down when the season is over and we will gather all the information, and there is no one that wants what's best for him more than any of us. I have been incredibly impressed with the way he has handled this.
