created deserve last mess properties six suffer three
In Townsend, we have strived to see that our development doesn't get out of hand, ... Only three properties were annexed for development in the last six years. Middletown created a monster. Why should we have to suffer for the mess they created? What did we do to deserve this?
bats focused great happy kids next pitching proud short swung task three today turnaround weather
I am proud of the way they kids battled the weather today and still focused on the task at hand. I was happy with the way we swung the bats and we got some great pitching out of all three of our pitchers. We have a short turnaround now before our next game, but we are off to a great start. We just have to keep it going now.
care three turning
In 30 minutes, we had 100. In three hours, we had 500 ... At 3:30 in the morning, we were turning them away. That's just kind of the Lafayette culture. We take care of our people.
breaking change coming definitely dominated double ended game gave hard home michelle sliding throughout
Especially at this level, one play can definitely change a game. Sammie Jo ended up coming up big for us by just sliding hard into home and breaking up the double play. I thought Michelle Kinney gave us some big at-bats throughout the game and Ragan just went out there and dominated for the second-straight day.
bad break chipping control drove executing great hit hits job kept moved nice pitch runners threw
Ragan pitched a great game. She threw one bad pitch and they hit it out but she was in control the whole way. I thought we did a nice job of executing also. We got some runners on, we moved them over and we drove them in. We just kept chipping away and we had some opportunities to break that one open, we just didn't get the hits at the right time.
hoping top
That?s at the top of her list. I don?t know how much they know about her yet, but I?m hoping they call.
beat coming injuries katie people step struggled struggling surgery toe
We have to tighten up in the field. We had some injuries coming in with Katie Cooley having surgery on her toe (on Monday) and Gina McCloud struggling with a back injury. We're a little beat up right now. We need some people to step up and that's what we struggled with tonight.
chance defensive gave good great pitching pleased start swung weekend win
I thought it was a good start for us. We got great pitching from Ragan and Stephanie all weekend and they gave us a chance to win every game. We made some defensive mistakes, but I was pleased with the way we swung the bats.
adjusting balance ball bats bit board came finally game good great hard job keeping moved played runs time took
I thought it took us a little bit to get our bats going, but Samford came in and played well. They did a good job of keeping us off balance and they moved the ball around and we had a hard time adjusting to that so you have to give them credit. Stephanie pitched a great game and we finally put some runs on the board with big hits.
came
You can't do much better than that. She just came out and dominated.
matter time
It's only a matter of time before this overtakes the conventional colonoscopy,
best essential grow helps kids softball talent
It's essential to have in-state talent. That helps the attendance, which helps softball grow at our level. We need that because we want to keep the best kids at home.
club hired including lots open people running sell sharp tickets
It used to be just open the gates, with locals hired as temps to sell tickets and concessions. Now many more club staffers are involved, including many with MBAs. There are lots of sharp people running things now.
bit finished good great heading hits job needed plate sign took
It took us a little bit to get going, but I thought that we did a great job at the plate tonight. We got the hits when we needed them and then we finished them off. That is a good sign for us, especially heading into tomorrow's championship game.
