ball compensate days fall figure hip last moving night throwing totally tuesday year
It's ridiculous. It's not like last year when I had to compensate for my hip and my shoulder. Now I feel great, and now everything isn't the same. The ball is moving the way I want it to, but something mechanically is throwing me off. I need to figure that one thing out. I've got two days to do it. Then again, I may get out there Tuesday night and it may just fall into place because it's a totally different ballgame.

It's ridiculous, ... It's not like last year when I had to compensate for my hip and my shoulder. Now I feel great, and now everything isn't the same. The ball is moving the way I want it to, but something mechanically is throwing me off. I need to figure that one thing out. I've got two days to do it. bad ball days good hit maybe pitch pitches pop putting swings terrible
I make one good pitch then come back and make a terrible pitch and they hit the ball out of the ballpark. One of these days maybe they'll pop one up. But right now, they're putting good swings on the bad pitches I'm throwing.
mechanics
I think I have my mechanics back in order. Things are going in the right direction. It doesn't look like it totally, but to me, they are.
awhile bad either goat good hero stink
I stink right now. You get booed when you do bad in my job. You're either the hero or the goat every day. ... I've been the goat pretty good for awhile here.
bad best given home left people runs saying sure swings taking tank throw year
I give up one or two home runs a year and now I've given up two in the first week. They're not really taking any bad swings at what I throw up there. I'm sure people are saying I don't have anything left in the tank ... whatever. I feel like I've got enough to get people out. I just have to go out there and use it to the best of my ability.
pitch totally
If it's a one-run game, you pitch totally different.
expect phone
When he pitches, you don't expect the phone to ring.
changes information
When they started going over the itinerary, I told them I didn't want to do that. It wasn't about not getting ready. When I first committed, we didn't have all the information about how long we were going to be away. I just wasn't comfortable with that because of all the changes we've made. I wanted to be part of it here.
gets jumps kids rule teach
He jumps down and he gets in their face. That's like the No. 1 rule ever, you never teach your kids to jump down and get in your dog's face. He does it.
bad pitch wish
Just one bad pitch I wish I could get back, but I can't. It's just frustrating more than anything, but we'll be back out there.
eight lead worked
He worked his butt off for eight innings, and I go out there and give up the lead not once but twice.
bad cerebral degree mechanics pitching
He has a degree in psychology, so he's very cerebral about pitching and mechanics and things like that. He would make me think more than I usually did, which is sometimes bad for me.
biggest eight happen page turn worked
My biggest thing, he worked his butt off for eight innings, and I go out and give up the lead, not once, but twice. It doesn't happen often. I'll turn the page and go out tomorrow. Tonight's over.
