became child focus focused hard june last month thinking travel wife
We had our first child on June 18, and I kind of thought about that a little, ... It really became hard to focus on golf. My wife wasn't able to travel the last month and a half, and I was thinking about her at home. I don't think I was focused as I should have been.
bunch excited family golf memorable regardless
I've wanted to go a bunch but never had the opportunity. I'm so excited for my family to come and watch. Regardless of what happens, it'll be one of most memorable golf experiences I've ever had.
british experience field hear incredible opposite people played weak winning
That was an incredible experience, ... I hear people say that the field was weak (because it was played opposite of the British Open), but winning is winning. Now that I've done it, I know I can do it again.
bigger confidence enjoying fighting last money riding shoulders stay top weight
I'm still riding the confidence. I'm just enjoying myself so much more. The weight off my shoulders is huge. Last year, I was fighting to stay in the top 125 on the money list. That was a bigger deal.

Typically, my wife and I get the check, and we try to go out to a nice dinner, ... We throw in the video from 1992 and just laugh our heads off. We're pretty blessed, actually. It's a great day for me and it's a good day to be Jason Bohn right now.
final played playing stepping stone sucked though time today
Today was a big stepping stone for me, playing in the final group, first time ever on the PGA Tour, ... Even though I didn't come out on top, I still sucked it up and I played with a lot of heart.

I was frustrated after three putting (on the 13th). I guess it worked for me on the drive.

It's very easy to shoot a very high number, and it's pretty difficult to shoot a low number out here today. I came out on the top. I was pretty fortunate.

That's kind of this golf course. You hit good shots, you get rewarded. You hit bad ones and you get penalized.
cut finishing goal inside last might missed money second since solid top week
After winning, then finishing second in Boston, my goal since then has been to finish in the top 30 on the money list. I missed the cut last week. If I had made the cut, I might be inside that number. I did look at the money list, and between 28 and 33, there's not a big difference. So, I'm a solid week away.
coming everybody firing led pins start trying
K.J. got off to the kind of start that everybody wanted. After that, I was just firing at a lot of pins coming in, and that led to some bogeys. But I was trying to win.
