Don't forget we are from different countries, and everything is different. Even if we like it here in America, it is still a different country. If you have a guy from the same country who can speak the same language around you, it is more comfortable.
To me, it was fast, too. But that's the way it's going to be. I think it's going to be even faster when the players get into shape. Don't forget they didn't play for a year. So heads up.
The New York Rangers don't have much experience in the playoffs the last years but the players are different. You have to forget about what happened the day before and think forward, never be too satisfied and never be too angry.
That guy, Mark Messier, he did so much for hockey. He truly deserves it. People will never forget that. If you give 100 percent, people will love you.
All we needed was one victory or one point and we couldn't do it. You know, for whatever reason, hopefully we can forget everything that happened the last two weeks and move on.
It would take a miracle (to play). It's feeling better, but there's too much pain.
It was very special for me. I had so much time to look around and put the puck where I wanted to.
I've been playing with Marty for a long time. He knows where I'm going to be and I know where to look for him.
I've been on some hot streak lately. Hopefully, I can play the same way in the Olympics, but hopefully I can play even better when I come back after the Olympics. I go to represent my country, but my job is to play good for the New York Rangers .
The way I saw it from the outside, there was always pressure on the New York Rangers, for the GM to make moves. It was kind of ... necessary,
The way I look at it, home-ice advantage or no home-ice advantage, if we're going to play like that in the playoffs, we're going to lose anyway.
The way I feel right now, he may have a day off tomorrow. He will have an easy day. But that's okay. I might be back next week.
First place is good for everybody. It's good for the owners, for the fans, for the players. It's always nice to play at home and not be traveling.
First off, it's going to be a different team than Pittsburgh was today. As long as we play the same way as we did today, we'll have a chance.
