The third period was probably the best we've played in a long time. It was a very big game for us as far as momentum. We all knew the importance of it. We've got four days to live with it now.

On the other side of it, we were that close (to winning the Cup), (so) we're hungry. To get that close and hear the other team celebrating, and know it could have been us, that does enter your mind.

Obviously, we weren't happy with the way the game was going. Emotions get going when you look at the scoreboard and you're losing in the Stanley Cup Finals. And that's what happens.

We knew they would raise their game and we didn't match it after they started coming at us. It's a matter that later we've got to be better. I don't know if it's bearing down more or we've got to be more disciplined, but we're going to need to change and we have to do it in a hurry.
