bucket controlled offensive rebound result seemed
Every bucket they got, every offensive rebound they got, it seemed like they were a result of him. He controlled the whole game.
basket contest fred front hand shot stay trying
Fred had been getting to the basket on us all night. I was just trying to stay in front of him and contest the shot and I was able to get a hand on it.
care catch catching guards guys hard playing quick run smaller stay time
I don't care if it's the two, but I like playing out on the floor, ... I'm not big and bulky so I like being able to run and move. I've always said that those big guys have to catch me. If a guy is 270 pounds, he's going to have a hard time catching me. Then, I feel like I'm quick enough to stay with the smaller guards so I like being out there.
fans great love playing
We're going back to D.C.. Our fans have been great all year. We love playing at home, so it's going to be big for us.

We did a really good job of containing him. We changed our game plan and it worked. We watched the game film, and we were able to stop him.

They did a very good job on defense and we missed some open shots. I made a key turnover late that hurt us.
defense good job key late missed open plays shots situation
They did a really good job on defense. We missed some open shots and I made a key turnover late in the game. It's a situation where we didn't make key plays down the stretch.
chance change gives matter season win
This win isn't going to change the season for us but it does get us to .500 and gives us a chance to keep improving. Right now, a win was what we needed. It doesn't matter how we got it.
deep good guys team
We're going to have a good team, a deep team with guys that play well with one another.
defensive good rhythm taking
We're in a rhythm right now, especially at the defensive end. We're getting stops, and we're getting out and running. And we're taking good shots. That allows us to get back at the defensive end.
care contract determine future hard season secure situation sure worked
I take it very seriously, ... I worked hard this offseason and I'm going to work hard this season to make sure I get better. It will determine my future and I want to make sure that I have a secure future. I think it's a situation where I have to come out and play this year. That's how I look at it. I just have to make sure that I get better and do what I've got to do. If I do that, the contract situation will take care of itself.
guard hard match weapons
We match up well. We have weapons offensively that I think it's hard for them to match up against. They don't really have a guard who can match up with Gil very well.
controlled rebounds
He controlled the game. You could live with him getting 30 points, but what you don't want is 11 rebounds and 11 assists.
city experience games last love series sure
I think about that all the time, that this could be my last series here. I love the city and I love the fans, and I love everything that I've been able to experience here. But these could be my last games in D.C., so I want to make sure I go out and play well every time.
