adrenaline ankle bit building coming drives electricity felt good later playing severe sure teammates tonight
It felt good, as good as it can be coming back from a severe ankle sprain. The adrenaline was going, the electricity was in the building and my teammates were playing hard. I mean, that drives you. I'm pretty sure I'll feel a little bit of something later tonight or tomorrow, but it really doesn't matter, we got a win.
activity alone feeling few good shots
My activity alone got me going. I've been feeling pretty good for a few games. The shots weren't falling, but I'm energized.
confidence forward games good guys hard looking played seeing week
They're going to be two hard games this weekend. I do have a lot of confidence that we can be successful. We had a good week of practice, and our guys played hard. They're focused, and I'm looking forward to seeing how they perform.

The simple beauty of August's words struck me profoundly. The lines just seemed to have a life of their own leading me along as I read it.

And when that happens, Mexico will have really leapt forward to first-world respectability.
adds bench depth kyle matt potential strength successful understand
The thing you also have to understand is that our strength is the depth of our team. When you have Matt Kyle and Ross Morin come off the bench in those spots, that just adds to our potential to be successful down low.
accept learned racism taken
I've learned that racism will not be taken as a given. I don't think we should ever accept it.
energy gave steady
Ross has been really steady for us. He gave us a lot of energy off the bench.
handling job poor
We did a poor job of handling pressure.
