It shows you that we have a good team, especially when we're at home. We've got to continue to progress. We've been doing it well as a team and at the end it's going to come. It's going to come, it's going to take time and we've got to stay focused.
It's still a little weird, knowing that he's gone now. Every time I flip on the TV and see him in that (New York) uniform, I just laugh. I understand that this is a business, and I know that we did what we did for a reason. But it still feels weird.
I consider myself -- and I think my teammates do, too -- somewhat of a tough guy, and this is the first time in my life that I've had to use crutches. I've had ankle injuries, but nothing like this. All I know is there is a lot of pain now.
Every game, the team gets better. Everybody's getting better, individually and collectively.
Every game counts from here on out. And whether we get to the playoffs or not, (the goal is) just to get better.
I am happy that we fought. But when you fight, that doesn't mean you are going to win the game. I feel like I'm starting to get my rhythm now.
What we know now is that every single game during the season counts. If we win this game or win that game or just win the games that we should have won, we wouldn't be in the situation that we are having to depend on other teams.
It feels like I'm starting to get my rhythm now. If we had lost, the nine assists and all the points I scored would have gone out the window, but because we won, I had an exciting game.
I think I've shown people that I can play in this league. But now, I have to show them that I can win and take a team deep in the playoffs.
Our record doesn't reflect the kind of team that we have right now. We're playing really well, we're bonding and we're sharing the ball.
People just want to make excuses, which really is fine with me. I'm always the underdog.
I think we lacked intensity at the beginning of the game. Once we picked up our intensity, things started to turn around for us.
I watched a couple of games and it was just a great, great day for the NBA.
I wish we had a couple of weeks or maybe even three weeks left, because we'd be in the running to make a serious run in the playoffs. We're a heck of a team. We were down and out of it with 15 games to play and we kept playing. That says a lot about the guys on this team.
